Dear Lower Upper Middle Class Guy,
Our company recently asked everyone to accept a pay cut or the company would be forced to implement layoffs.  I’d hate for my friends and co-workers to get the axe but I can’t afford to take a pay cut.

Can Washington, D.C. really expect us to cough up $700 billion dollars to bail out Wall Street? I’ve foregone meals just to make ends meet. I’m behind on my bills because I have to fill up my tank. My social life has taken a back seat and I’m missing out on some great parties. Is there any end in sight?

Dear Advice from the Lower Upper Middle Class,

My wife and I want to move because our neighborhood isn’t gentrifying at the rate we had hoped. We were about to plant a for-sale sign when developers broke ground on a new shopping complex only a few blocks away. So far it looks like they’re opening a Potbelly, a furniture store and a David’s Bridal. Think we should stick it out a little longer and hold off selling?
