Hello. I write to you with belated but joyous news. First I need to give you some background information though.

Thomas Conrad was the guitarist for The Academy Is... circa 2005 as well as part of 2006, but he was forced to leave the band due to artistic differences. He then went to join another band called Empires.

Recently, The Academy Is... announced they were going on an acoustic tour throughout the midwest and west coast. Empires is slated to join the tour in the beginning of April. This means that William Beckett and Thomas Conrad have finally settled their differences, forgave and forgot, and are ready to move on and repair their friendship and start anew.

This just gives me endless hope for my own life. It makes me think that maybe Evan and I will get back together some day (remember, the boy I met in the mosh pit at the Fall Out Boy show who conveniently wore the same size pants as me? Yeah, we were meant for each other). It took William and Thomas four years to reconcile...I don't think I can wait that long for Evan. Maybe it will be more like four months. Or four weeks.

I worry though, because I texted him some of my song lyrics a few hours ago and he still hasn't replied. How can you not respond to a text this deep and profound?
