Vehicular Manslaughter Charges So Not Raven
Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman, known professionally among tweens as Raven-Symoné or Raven, has been charged with vehicular manslaughter following a June 1st arrest in which she struck and killed a pedestrian in Burbank, California. Raven-Symoné maintained her innocence citing that the action was contradictory to her persona or in her words, “so not Raven.”
Raven-Symoné was driving north on Bay View Road on Monday listening to her 1993 rap hit “That’s What Little Girls Are Made Of” when she veered off the road and into the yard of Mark and Patricia Meloni, hitting their 12 year-old son Josh.
“I was concentrated on the road while singing my chart-topping hip hop single [reached 68 on Billboard Hot 100], when this kid came out of nowhere. It was of no fault of my own. How could it be? Negligent driving resulting in the death of others is just so not the act of a beloved family sitcom star.”
The title star of The Disney Channel’s longest running series “That’s So Raven” who played a mind-reading teen although she’s 43 years old, would like also like to remind the public that the alleged actions are also so not Olivia Kendall and so not Nicole Lee should producers be considering “The Cosby Show” or “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” reunions.
